The Burning

On a planet far away in another galaxy, the sun is too hot for human life forms to live on. Four years before the beginning of this novel, The Burning happened. The humans have nothing left except what they can produce  underground. Bree is a nineteen year old mourning a lost mother, Dani is her best friend who wonders if there’s anything worth living for, Derrek is a rebel who thinks he knows what’s right, and Skylar is the missing link. But when the Surface Exploration Team is chosen, and Bree, Skylar, and Derrek are on the team, things change.
